26,000 m2 automated brand new facility, where Radial partnered up with warehouse automation specialist Dematic, part of KION Group, and its partner Quicktron Robotics, an autonomous mobile robot producer, to build a solution that would require less storage space, shorten turnaround times, and increase picking productivity.
This wasn’t just about deploying AMRs; it was about designing and implementing a large-scale, integrated goods-to-person system where robots seamlessly collaborate with up to 200 human employees.

The new facility boosts an unprecedented automation set up: 299 AMRs, spread across 45 pick and pack stations.
Instead of relying on conveyor belts and pallets as usual, Dematic opted for a different approach for this project.

This facility, operational since May 2023, boasts two storage sections equipped with cutting-edge technology. Notably, 299 Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) work seamlessly alongside human employees, facilitating bin-to-person, pallet-to-person, and transport operations.
